What Cereviq is

Cereviq is an AI study product at https://www.cereviq.com. Students create an account, upload their own class notes, and generate study guides, quizzes, flashcards, catch-up lessons, and AI tutoring from that material.

Account information

When you sign up, Cereviq stores the name and email you provide, plus authentication data needed to sign you in. Password reset and email-change confirmations use that email.

Uploaded files and extracted text

Files you upload are stored in a private bucket under your account. Cereviq may extract text from those files so you can generate study tools. Do not upload material you are not allowed to use.

Generated learning content

Study guides, quizzes, flashcards, catch-up lessons, and related titles you generate are saved to your account so you can reopen them later.

Quiz and progress data

If you take a quiz, Cereviq may store attempts, selected answers, scores, and a progress summary based on your own work. This is not a school gradebook.

AI Tutor conversations

Tutor questions and replies you send in the product may be stored with your account so the conversation can continue.

Feedback

Optional notes you send from Help or Settings are stored so the Cereviq team can review them. Other students cannot see your feedback.

Authentication provider

Sign-in, password reset, and email change are handled by Supabase Auth. Confirmation and reset messages are sent through the project’s configured email provider.

AI processing

When you ask Cereviq to generate study tools or tutor replies, the relevant notes and your request are processed on the server by an AI provider so the product can return the result. See AI Disclosure.

Where data is stored

Application data is stored with the hosted Cereviq database and file storage used by this product. This draft does not list every subprocess or data-processing agreement.

Retention

Data stays on your account while the account is active. If you delete the account from Settings, Cereviq is designed to remove the account, uploaded files, and generated study data from the app. Copies may remain briefly in backups or in systems Cereviq does not directly control, such as email delivery logs.

Account deletion

Signed-in students can delete their account in Settings by typing DELETE. That action cannot be undone from the app.

Student and children’s use

Cereviq is meant for students who can create and manage an account. A parent or guardian should help younger students. This page is not a COPPA, FERPA, or school compliance statement.

Security

Accounts require a password. Study files and generated content are scoped to your signed-in account. Cereviq does not promise that any system is free from unauthorized access.

Third-party services

Cereviq uses hosted infrastructure for the website, authentication, file storage, and AI generation. Those providers process data only as needed to run the product. This is not a complete vendor list.

Cookies

Cereviq uses cookies and similar storage needed to keep you signed in and to run the site. There is no separate marketing-analytics cookie banner because the app does not currently add that kind of tracker.
